I do lots of visits each year and really enjoy them. They’re a great opportunity to meet my readers and people who’ve never read any of my books. I do pretty much anything from a one-hour session about writing/books/being an author to whole school literacy weeks, where the national curriculum is put on hold and I work with young writers (i.e. YOU) on a massively chunky piece of writing.
